Apple's "Let's Talk iPhone" event has finally arrived, and we'll probably get the unveiling of the highly anticipated iPhone 5 from company CEO Tim Cook and team. Tim Cook took the stage at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., on Tuesday morning to kick off Apple's Let's Talk iPhone event, which is expected to bring in news of a new iPhone.

Tim Cook walked onstage to kick off theevent at which the fifth version of the company's iPhone is expected to be unveiled. "This is my first product launch since being named CEO -- I'm sure you didn't know that," Cook said upon taking the stage. "I love Apple and consider it the privilege of a lifetime to have worked here for 14 years and to assume this role. The Wall Street Journal is putting to bed one uncertainty:
According to those in the know, Apple’s next phone won’t feature support for 4G or WiMAX. Already, the iPhone is the world's bestselling smartphone, and this new model promises to widen that gap. His keynotes were so smooth and effective that they have been emulated by other tech CEOs such as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.

And while both of those men have been called the “next Steve Jobs,” that title has never been applied to Cook. Following Cook, Apple’s Scott Forstall, SVP of iOS software, presented the app side of the picture, which looks just as rosy.
